音楽家、サウンドアーティスト。
「See by Your Ears」主宰。
既存のフォーマットに依拠しない立体音響システムを駆使し、その場所固有の響きの中で音を編み上げる独自の“空間的作曲”によって、聴覚の潜在的な可能性をひらくインスタレーションを展開。無響室から庭園、廃墟、公共空間、美術館や劇場まで、多様な空間で作品を発表し国際的に高い評価を得ている。
2025年、空間音響の芸術的探究を続ける活動への評価と、サウンドアートを多くの人にひらいた功績により、国際賞アルス・エレクトロニカ 2025 Isao Tomita Special Prizeを受賞。2026年、令和7年度（第76回）芸術選奨 文部科学大臣新人賞を受賞。
主な個展に「evala 現われる場 消滅する像」（NTT ICC , 2024）など。その他、養老天命反転地、世界遺産・薬師寺、東京都庭園美術館、十和田市現代美術館、Sonar（スペイン）、SXSW（アメリカ）、国立アジア文化殿堂（韓国）、ENNOVA ART Museum（中国）などで、目には映らない独創的な作品を展開する。

Composer and sound artist. Founder of “See by Your Ears”.

Employing original three-dimensional sound systems that do not rely on conventional formats, he creates installations that unfold the latent potential of human hearing through his unique approach of “spatial composition,” weaving sound within the acoustic characteristics of each specific site. His works have been presented in a wide range of environments-from anechoic chambers, gardens, ruins, and public spaces to museums and theaters-earning international acclaim.

In 2025, he received the Ars Electronica 2025 Isao Tomita Special Prize in recognition of his continued artistic exploration of spatial acoustics and his contribution to making sound art accessible to broader audiences. In 2026, he was awarded the New Artist Award from the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (76th Art Encouragement Prizes).

Major solo exhibitions include evala: Emerging Site / Disappearing Image (NTT InterCommunication Center [ICC], 2024), among others. His works have also been presented at sites such as Yoro Park (Site of Reversible Destiny), Yakushi-ji Temple (UNESCO World Heritage), Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum, Towada Art Center, Sónar (Spain), SXSW (USA), Asia Culture Center (Korea), and ENNOVA Art Museum (China), where he develops unseen yet deeply perceptual works.
